ODI Lecture Series Sign Up
The office for Diversity and Inclusion lecture series hopes to encourage the University of Maine to be intersectional and inclusive citizens. The series provides a space for faculty, staff, and students to explore their knowledge of policies and systems that complicate and challenge equity. The series hopes to engage our community to consider intersecting perspectives and to broaden the basis for critical thought, and understanding.

The ODI Lecture Series speakers reflect on topics of concern at the intersections of diversity and equity. All lectures will be done virtually over zoom. If you are interested in presenting a topic, leading a workshop or creating space for dialogue around a topic/s, please reach out the Director for Diversity and Inclusion, Anila Karunakar at anila.karunakar@maine.edu.

Do we need another white guy dispensing advice on race, gender, class, and more? However, I do think I can offer at least my own perspective on working to wake up and working to support change.
Yas Queen! Appropriation and White Queerness:                                                                                                        Oct 21, 12pm-1pm
