iGEM Toronto Executive Team Application Form: 2020-2021 Season
Thank you for your interest in applying to be a part of iGEM Toronto’s Administrative Team for the 2020-2021 season!

Each year, iGEM Toronto's members design and execute a self-directed synthetic biology project with the intent of building a creative and functional genetically engineered organism. After a summer of hard work, we showcase our research at the iGEM Jamboree, an international competition which features top universities from around the world. Our team functions both as a Synthetic Biology club and a competitive Research Team. During the year, the Executive team organizes events for its members and the student body. Elections for the Executive team will be held on January 27th, 6pm-7:30pm during our Open House.

~Important~
1) Deadline for form submissions: January 26th
2) If you cannot attend the elections, please submit your video as an unlisted YouTube video on the Facebook page. We will play the video during the Open House at 6 PM EST on January 27th.


~Positions Available~
Director of Internal Communications (1)
- Work as a team to faciilitate communication within RnD subteams
- Communication between RnD team and Admin exec team
- Deal with administrative duties of the RnD team
- Getting the Wet Lab team into the lab (i.e. completing Biosafety forms for BioZone, setting up meetings with our PI, Prof. Mahadevan)
- Aiding each subteam in their administrative duties
