A Collaborative Culture Opinion
“A Collaborative Culture” newsletter created dialogue and a network among students, faculty, and staff. ACC is a diverse institution both in terms of student and staff population.  At the time in 2018, it was challenging to have a conversation where individuals felt safe to connect and share their perspectives and stories from their culture and day-to-day experiences.  “A Collaborative Culture” was and is a tool to further the purpose to educate and bring much-needed dialogue about the impact our students and community face surrounding the systemic issues found with race and racism.
