Our organization is the Education Center. Our mission is to uplift the community through education. Our facilities is at West Covina Christian Church on 1100 E Cameron Ave. West Covina, CA. We are a charter of Rotary Club 222340, and approved and recognized by West Covina Unified Board of Education and work in close partnership with special assignment teacher Cynthia Okamoto and Principal Sylvia Fullerton of Cameron Elementary School, and more recently Edgewood Middle School.

We provide free tutoring to help your children excel in their school work, life their spirits, and motivate them to succeed. Tutoring is absolutely free of charge, however, you MUST commit to attending all 5-weeks and arrive on-time as your children will be assigned personal 1-on-1 volunteer tutors who drive long distances to help your children. If you have excessive absences, you will be asked to forfeit your enrollment in the program so that we can have space to enroll other children in need.

We will be beginning our tutoring for Winter 2022 on Monday Jan 31 - Wednesday March 2 (5 weeks). It will be every Monday and Wednesday from 3:30-5:00PM. You can attend both days (preferred) or either day. We will be tutoring in-person only, indoors. We will require face coverings in compliance with LA county policy. We will comply with LA county COVID policy as the year progresses and make adjustments as necessary. If your child has any special accommodations or if you have any concerns, please let us know, we are more than willing to meet your needs.

Each new parent should fill out their own application. If you were a parent from the previous 6-week section, your information is already on file, and you will be contacted directly. You don't need to fill this form.

Please fill out 1 application per child you wish to enroll. If you want to enroll more than 1 child, please fill out an additional application. Please fill each application completely.
