Salida is commissioning a brand-new cast-in-place concrete skatepark to be located at Centennial Park. To make sure our proposed design is the best it can be, we want to hear from local community.

PROJECT GOALS

1. Design and build a 15,000-18,000 square ft. world class Skatepark for the community of Salida

2. The facility will be designed for skateboarders, BMXers, and other wheeled users such as Roller Derby.

3. The facility will be designed to accommodate events such as competitions and draw in skateboard tourism as well as providing a day to day facility for users of all abilities to practice and improve their skills.

The skatepark site will be located at the corner of Highway 50 & Holman Ave.

It is important that skateparks incorporate the feel of the local community in creative ways.
