Lyons Community Centre Survey
As you all know we have experienced a time of uncertainty and are all desperate to see normality return to our everyday lives some time in the near future.

The Lyons Community Centre has been one of the facilities that has unfortunately been required to close as part of the Government’s lockdown process and we would like to thank you for your continued support during this difficult time.

Our aim is to have the Centre re-open very soon and we would appreciate your co-operation in completing the following survey and providing your opinion on what you would like to see the Centre being used for. Your answers will be assessed with the views and ideas of the whole community taken into account.

CaSE’s FUN Committee, made up of a range of resident volunteers, have worked extremely hard over the last year to deliver some great events at the Lyons Community Centre. They organised the launch event, Christmas party and modified events during lockdown, such as an Easter egg display hunt, VE Day and a virtual quiz night.

CaSE’s FUN Committee are again working on an exciting programme of summer activities, details of which will be available in the coming weeks. However, in the meantime please visit our Social Media pages for more information about our virtual IT Café on 20th June 2020 (to provide advice and support with your IT queries) and a virtual escape room on 3rd July 2020 (think of it as a celebration that “lockdown” has come to an end and pubs are opening the day after!).

As mentioned in the opening statement, the FUN Committee are working hard on a jam-packed summer programme for all the family. The current plan includes:
Virtual kids scavenger hunt
Virtual game show morning
Virtual kids art competition
Virtual kids talent competition
Virtual community café mornings
Nature trail/orienteering challenge
Sports day
Open air cinema

We are looking for volunteers to help host these events throughout the summer. If you are interested in providing support at any of these events/activities, or have any other ideas please provide your contact details so we can get in touch to discuss:
