Let Gobles Public Schools help design your middle or high school student’s enrollment based on the individual needs and goals of the student and their family. Using our Gobles Virtual Academy and experience with online learning, we are able to offer the following types of enrollment options other than fully in-person enrollments. Students are able to change their enrollment type at the end of each semester. Please indicate which enrollment option you are interested in below. Credits required for graduation are for new Gobles Virtual Academy students beginning with the 2023-2024 school year.
100% Virtual through Gobles Virtual Academy
Students enrolls in 6 online courses.
18 Credits for Gobles Public Schools Diploma (Michigan Merit)
Students work entirely off site from school grounds and will only need to come to the campus when permission is granted from the administration.
Student does not intend to participate in any school sponsored events, activities, clubs, or athletics
This option is best for working students, students living outside of the district, and/or students experiencing health issues that are currently not in good standing.
Full Access through Gobles Virtual Academy
Students enrolls in 6 online courses.
22 Credits for Gobles Public Schools Diploma
Students attend the online learning lab for the first nine weeks of each semester
Students intend to participate in school sponsored events, activities, and/or clubs.
Students have access to work in the Online Learning Lab.
Students do not wish to participate in athletics.
This option is best for working students, students living outside of the district, and/or students experiencing health issues that are in good standing.
Gobles Virtual Academy at Gobles Middle High School (In-Person GVA)
Students enrolls in 7 courses (can be a blend of in-person and online classes)
24 Credits for Gobles Public Schools Diploma
Student enrollment is listed at Gobles Middle High School
Students attend scheduled class periods daily and attendance is taken - required
Students intend to participate in school sponsored events, activities, clubs, and/or athletics
This option is best for students who desire to play athletics or want to attend the school building but learn best independently.
