Hey!! Thanks for your interest in joining the Board for Mooresville Pride 2023. We will be accepting interest applications until May 6th and then will be reviewing and contacting people! If you aren't chosen for the board, there will be amazing opportunities to volunteer in the area that interests you the most!

Requirements of a Board Member: As a board member for Pride, you have to represent CLEVER and Pride in a positive and moral way all of the time. We are facing tremendous odds having pride in Mooresville, and we have to do things the right way. CLEVER is a 501C3 non profit, and we work with kids, so ethical behavior is a must. We also have to be very careful how we approach everything, ensuring we stay within the guidelines of our nonprofit. Because of this, all board members must get approval from Stephanie, for all events, posts, handouts, etc.

As far as time requirements. We will be meeting 2 x a month either in person or virtually to go over our assigned areas of pride planning. But don't worry, you won't be on your own. As a board member, you will have a group of volunteers that will help you achieve the goals we set for the different sector you represent. You will be in charge of those volunteers and how you want to delegate the work.

Please choose as many of the board positions as you are interested in (only one will be assigned per person unless we have to combine). If you are applying for different options make sure to cover all of them in the experience section. This is a volunteer position, but it will be a monumental one. Board Member- Paid Marketing- This person will be in charge of using our $10k advertising budget with Google Advertising as well as possible other paid marketing depending on funds

Board Member- Grass Roots Marketing- This person will be in charge of "grass roots" style marketing meaning little to no budget advertising. Most of it will center around social media.

Board Member- Parade Organization- This person will be in charge of recruiting parade participants, educational sessions (with the assistance of Chair), organization for day of event, etc.

Board Member- Event Entertainment- This person will be in charge of the entertainment for the event after the parade. This will be done with the assistance of the Chair and Vice Chair, and must be family friendly.

Board Member- Corporate Fundraising-This is one of the most important parts of our fundraising. Corporate Sponsorships will be the bulk of our ambitious goal raised. Will work closely with Chair to facilitate a professional and concise Corporate sponsorship program.

Board Member-Public (private party) Fundraising- This person will create, set-up, and manage fundraising programs online, and events for individuals who wish to fundraise for PRIDE and CLEVER.

Board Member-Vendors- This person will be in charge of taking applications, giving instructions, and managing the vendors on the day of the events.
