As you will have read on the course description page, this course is offered in the gift economy. That means there is no fixed cost and that access to the learning is not limited to those with financial means. I understand this as part of a radical return to the interdependence through which humans lived well for most of our 200,000 years of existence. It is more relational than the exchange economy that's based in scarcity and separation, and is situated in the flow of giving and receiving and of mutual and collective care. It is also an expression of my commitment to these teachings being available to all who seek them and not limited to those of privilege. We will engage this approach to money as part of NVC's broader systemic application and the giving and receiving of money at the end of our course as part of our learning. In the meantime, to support my meeting material needs in the months during the course, I will request $75 upon registration.
