I Kid You Not is a by-kids-for-kids news platform that explains facts, news and current affairs simply.  It's a safe space for kids and teens to read the news and express themselves, as well as showcase their writing and art.

The internship starts immediately and is on till the end of the summer vacations. It will involve the following:

Kids will need to:

Research and suggest news topics
Write articles and collate news
Create Quizzes
Contribute to the newsletter by sending summaries of news events.

What they'll get out of this:

Better their General Knowledge

The editor will provide guidance and encourage kids to push boundaries - so they become more aware and write better. The articles will be published on the I Kid You Not website.

The articles will also be given written feedback - so the kids learn to write better.

There will be an orientation zoom call to welcome everyone. Post this the kids will start writing the articles. We will also have zoom calls every 10 days, so the kids can ask any questions and also the editors can give feedback, if needed.

There will be a fun quiz at the end of each month - kids who answer most questions will win prizes  :)
