Prior to auditioning for a competitive program at Utah Dance Artists, we offer dancers the opportunity to take classes with dancers on the current teams. This gives the dancer the chance to meet the instructors and experience the level of the classes the competitive teams are a part of. These classes are not required in order to audition.
The Varsity Ballet Competitive Program is an optional, add-on program for Varsity dancers in the 6th – 12th grades who wish to compete in the genre of ballet and intensify their ballet study with pre-professional training.
Participating dancers are grouped according to ability level with age consideration, as opposed to being grouped by their team participation. Dancers are not required to be on a Varsity competitive team to participate in the Varsity Ballet program.
Dress Code: Ballet: Black leo, pink tights, ballet shoes and a bun
