Tatoeba usability test
Hello and first of all thank you for taking the time to conduct usability tests for Tatoeba!

The instructions are simple.

1. Find people who can give you a bit of their time (10 minutes) to be a tester.
2. You can ask anyone to be a tester, the only requirement is that they have never used Tatoeba before.
3. Don't explain to them what Tatoeba is. Only ask them to use Tatoeba. You will show the the home page as a starting point (https://tatoeba.org).
4. Tell them to describe out loud what they are trying to do.
5. Don't help them. Just let them do whatever they want to do, and figure out on their own.
6. But take notes of all the problems that they had while using Tatoeba!

Fill this form for each person that you have watched using Tatoeba. Read all the questions first, so that you know more specifically what you should pay attention to.

General information
Which language(s) does the tester speak fluently? *
In which language was the interface of Tatoeba during the test session? *
What is the age of the tester?
Clear selection
Which pages of Tatoeba did the user visit? *
Ideally, you should check the history of the browser and copy paste here all the links related to Tatoeba. Otherwise simply describe briefly what the user did (ex: "Searched sentence. Looked at the comments of a specific sentence. Went back to homepage. Looked at the discussions on the Wall.")
Understanding of features for non logged in users
Did the tester have any trouble with the search feature?
This is assuming that the tester tried to search for sentences. You can leave this empty if the tester did not have any trouble. Please also mention here if the tester did not even realize they could search for sentences and see their translations.
Did the tester understand that they could see the details of a sentence by clicking on the # or arrow icon next to the sentence?
Is there anything else that the tester tried to do while not logged in, that is worth mentioning?
Understanding of features for logged in users
The questions here require that the user tried to register. You do not have to ask the user to register. It is completely up to them to register or not. Simply skip this part if the user did not try to register.
Did the tester have any trouble registering?
Did the tester have any trouble adding new sentences?
Did the tester have any trouble adding translations to sentences?
Did they figure out how to translate sentences? Did they add translations to the wrong sentence, by linking them to a sentence in a language they don't speak at all?
Is there anything else that the tester tried to do while being logged in, that is worth mentioning?
