Have recent events restricted your social activity? Has the school vibe lost its enjoyment? Say no more as the CHS Game Day committee is here to save you from your gloom. We plan on creating a fun and safe environment for students to relax, play some games, and socialize with one another while still maintaining social distancing.
The idea is we are creating an official CHS Discord server where Chaparral students can join in, play some games, hang out, and even possibly win a prize!
Inspired by MrBeast's gaming competitions, we plan to do something similar by creating a bracket system where once a month, students can compete with each other in some of their favorite online games and win some pretty neat prizes. When we mean prizes, we DO NOT mean the cheap treasure chest prizes you get from the dentist, we mean actual, legitimate, gift cards as well as possibly some store credit to local businesses in the area.
As the title says, this is just an interest form. We want to know what games YOU would want to play first before we start working on the system. We plan to host our first event Saturday, October 24th at 12 PM PST so be sure to save the date.
Note - While we are hosting these gaming events, we do not want to only focus on these tournaments; we would also like to build the community aspect as well. On the off days, students are free to join any of the public voice channels where they can talk with one another, play games, and generally have a good time because at the end of the day, what matters most to us is that you, the students, are having fun.
