Welcome to Artisan's Asylum Covid-19 PPE Gowns Initiative. We are working to produce hospital isolation gowns offsite in a newly-expanded space located at 100 Holton Street in Lower Allston. "Gowntown", our affectionately-named 3500 sq. ft. production facility, is easily accessible by bus (Routes 66, 70, 86) and also has plenty of onsite parking.
Shifts run 6 days a week, 10am to 9pm in 3-hour increments. Most tasks involve standing, light assembly, and some bending and twisting. All training will be provided.
Please note: Our volunteers are required to wear protective clothing (mask and gown) while working on PPE. Workstations are set up to allow 6 feet between volunteers. You will be asked to refrain from coming in to work if you have been exposed to Coronavirus or are not feeling well. Please review our complete health and safety guidelines here:
