Please make sure your Memento:
  • Is not a letter to your collectors. The Memento should be understood to anyone outside of Remarkist.
  • Does not have obvious password-cracking puzzles in the text. You can hide them, but keep in mind some readers will have very little context or interest in text that gives people hints on a password.
  • As with all Mementos, the title and content must avoid any possible copyright infringements. You can use quotes in your insight but you need to balance them with just as much of your own voice. Quotes without quotation marks are not permitted. Memento titles and artwork cannot use trademarks or infringe copyrights.
You may submit Mementos that have already been dropped, but we don't recommend it, and we are unlikely to publish much older Mementos at this time. We recommend holding off dropping your Memento until just before your Insight is set for publication. If your Memento Insight is chosen for inclusion in our editorial calendar, we'll reach out to you to let you know it's planned publish date. At that point, you'll be able to decide how and when you'd like to drop it. We'll reach out to you within a week of this submission to give you a head's up.
