2020-21 Talley Street School PTO Board and Committee Open Positions
The Talley Street PTO works with school administration to host and fund community-building events and provide additional support and opportunities for staff and students. Every parent or guardian of a Talley student is a member of the PTO and has an opportunity to vote on the slate of Board Nominees presented by the Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee seeks to match a diverse volunteer pool representing each feeder school to the available open Board and Committee Chair positions each year.
All Board Members are expected to attend the monthly board meetings at the school, attend community events as well as coordinate the work of designated PTO committees. Co-President, Co-Vice President and Co-Treasurer are staggered 1 and 2 year terms to provide continuity in leadership. Secretary, Communications and Member at Large are one year terms.
