The Institute seeks individuals who have experienced financial instability and can guide and shape the research and advocacy we do so that all Hoosier families can achieve and maintain financial well-being.
Advisory Council members agree to:
- participate regularly in monthly council meetings (over Zoom) to provide feedback on the Institute's research and policy agenda,
- review and provide feedback on publications or other work products,
- receive invitations to participate in Institute events, and
- consider opportunities to engage in advocacy through public events and/or tv/print news
Quarterly, a stipend of $134 will be provided to members who participate in at least two of the three monthly meetings or who participate in at least one meeting and one request for participation (e.g. review a publication, write a letter to the editor, attend an event).
If you are interested in applying, please fill out the form below! If you have questions, please email emacey@incap.org. We review applications three times a year (April, July, & November). Acceptance depends upon availability of seats. We strive to maintain representation that is diverse both in social identities (e.g. race, gender, ability) and location within the state.
