2020-2021 7th Grade Course Request
We are so excited to welcome you to Breckenridge Junior High next year!  You will be taking the following courses:  Math, English Language Arts, Texas History, Science, PE or Athletics, and a Fine Art or Cosmetology.  You have options for some classes.  Use this form to choose those options.  Understand this is a request, not a guarantee.  Final schedules will be created based on number of requests, educational need, and course/teacher availability.

Elective:  Choose either Cosmetology, Art, or Band.  If you choose band, the band directors will help you with instrument selection once school begins. *
PE:  Choose either PE or Athletics.  7th grade   participates in UIL Athletics.  There will be practices before and after school depending on the season as well as games and meets after school.  PE will be for those students who do not wish to participate in  school athletics. *
MATH:  Do you wish to take an accelerated math class that allows you to take Algebra I for high school credit in 8th grade (and more advanced math classes in high school)?  Choosing this HIGHLY ADVANCED math option indicates an interest in the course.  You must then meet criteria (prior STAAR scores, grades in math, teacher recommendation) to participate in the course. *
ELECTIVE Choice 2 (BACK-UP CHOICE if your first choice is full):  Choose your 2nd choice for an elective class. *
