PhysiCell Workshop & Hackathon - 2021
The 2021 PhysiCell Workshop and Hackathon will take place as an online event July 25-31, 2021, with most activities taking place Monday-Friday, 11 am - 6 pm US Eastern time.

Mornings are workshops: Learn to use PhysiCell to create and explore complex multicellular systems. These sessions are public and livestreamed.

Afternoons are hackathon time: Work with your team to develop a model or tool, and compete for prizes! These sessions are (virtually) closed-door for accepted / funded participants.

Prior to the workshop, we will hold live "office hours" to help set up software, as well as virtual socials to meet your fellow participants.

Please visit http://PhysiCell.org/ws2021 for full details including the agenda and expected outcomes.

This webform serves two purposes:

1) Register to be notified about the morning webstream and to access training materials.

2) Apply for funding and to participate in the hackathon and other exclusive events!

Accepted hackathon participants will receive a $1500 honorarium/stipend* to defray participation costs (e.g., food, child care, internet, ...) and PhysiCell swag! Because we are funded by the NCI Cancer Systems Biology Consortium (CSBC), we will prioritize funding for CSBC, PS-ON, TEC, and HTAN members. Applicants should have prior experience in C++ or Python, with an interest in multicellular modeling.

We believe that science is enhanced by a variety of perspectives, and our goal is to create an inclusive, respectful workshop environment that invites participation from people of all races, ethnicities, genders, ages, abilities, religions, and sexual orientation. We're actively seeking to increase the diversity of our attendees and the community we serve.

*** For full consideration, apply by May 31, 2021. ***
