Please read the following:
Parking - available in the municipal lot or street parking nearby on Mitton St. S., Stuart St., and Kathleen Ave.
Food and Drinks - can be purchase at Maud's Varity, or bring your own packed meals/snack/drinks.
Washrooms - located inside Maud's Variety. Please note that these are located at the bottom of a staircase.
Assigned Spots - vendors will have a 10x10 spot assigned by event organizers. Any changes will be communicated. Each space will be outlined with chalk with a number in the middle. Please look for your assigned number on arrival. If you are having trouble finding your number, please find one of our organizers to help you.
Loading In - you may start arriving at 10:30AM. Please park, unload your things at your location and then take your vehicle to one of the parking areas listed above. No vehicles permitted in Maud's Variety or True North Cannabis parking lots. Please have your booth ready for opening at 12:00PM.
Set-Up - all vendors will provide their own equipment for their booths (i.e. tents, tables, chairs, displays, stands, and signs). All tents must be weighed down and properly secured. Material handling is the responsibility of the vendor. Mitton Market is not responsible for loading, unloading, transport, or set up of vendor booths or displays. Please keep your area tidy and discard any garbage in the appropriate containers at Maud's Variety.
Taking Down - once the market is over, please take your set up down first before going to get your vehicle to load. Both Maud's Variety and True North Cannabis will still be open and vendors will need to be aware of customers entering and exiting the area.
Social Media/Promotion - you will be sent graphics to use on your socials for the event, as well as a link to our Facebook event. Please share with your followers. Will will also be putting up posters around the city, as well as advertising through local news.
Reminders:
- Vendors are expected to act courteously and professionally to all guests, fellow vendors and staff of Maud's Variety and True North Cannabis. We are guests at their location.
- Mitton Market assumes no legal responsibility to the vendor for any loss or damage due to weather, theft, fire, vandalism, or any other means.
- NO REFUNDS will be given if you cancel your spot.
- No candles are to have an open flame.
- NO SMOKING in or in close proximity of any tent at the event. Please go to an area away from the vendors.
