Subsidised Tickets Application

We are passionate about making the Scottish Women’s Paddle Symposium available to as wide a range of women as possible. We recognise that in the past there have been several under-represented groups not joining the event, this year we want to try and change that!

We are offering a set number of subsidised tickets that people on low incomes and/or from under-represented groups can apply for. There will be a light-touch short-listing process and then selection via a ballot.

Applications will be reviewed on 14th November and then as and when received. There are 20 subsidised tickets available - once they are gone, they are gone.

We need to ask some personal questions in order to identify income and under-represented groups. We have tried to keep these questions to a minimum. We will treat this information with the upmost respect, sensitively and confidentially and in line with the SCA Privacy Policy. Personal Data will be permanently deleted once the process has concluded. Personalised data will only be viewed by SCA Development Manager Lara Cooper and will otherwise be anonymised.

We will review applications mid November, then as and when received. We will be in touch with you as soon as we have concluded the process. If successful we will send you a link to book your spot. Priority booking is given between 15th - 21st November 2023 to ensure that you can access the sessions that you want. After this dates tickets will be on sale to the general public - the event does normally sell out fast, so please book your spot as soon as possible. If you book before the end of January, there is an option to pay in instalments.
