Recently the Governor mandated that educators be allowed 30 extra minutes per day for extra preparation needed due to the COVID -19 pandemic.  Cedar Mountain will accomplish this by having an early dismissal each Friday until further notice.  In order to ease the burden on working families that do not have other options for childcare, Cedar Mountain will offer child care for children in Kindergarten -5th on the Fridays and/or an occasional Thursday, that are set aside as teacher workdays.  Care will be offered for a fee of $10.00 per child and will be available from 12:30 -3:30 pm.  In the event that school is closed due to a holiday, scheduled non-school day, or bad weather, there will not be care available.  Preregistration is required and the weekly fee will be applied regardless of attendance.  This is so that we can accurately plan staff, appropriate space, and supplies that are needed.
