About Chino Valley Christian Education (CVCE)

The Chino Valley Released Time Christian Education organization has been dedicated to teaching the Bible to public school students in the Chino Valley Unified School District for over 25 years. 

Each week our Bible Buses (mobile classrooms) arrive at CVUSD schools, where a team of volunteers deliver one hour of worship, prayer and Bible education.

Serving in CVCE

The  ministry is made up of a team of servants who share a common desire to bring God's Word to Chino Valley students. To continue to increase the impact we have on the community, we need to continue to grow our team of servants.

There are many ways to serve, and although the time commitment varies depending on the way in which you choose to serve, those who serve as part of the ministry on the bus (bus drivers, teachers, and assistants) will be required to serve a minimum of 2 hours per week on the same day each week for the months of October - April (ie., every Wednesday from 1-3pm).

Chino Valley Christian Education - Mission Statement

The mission of the Chino Valley Christian Education program is to provide weekly Bible teaching to children in public education. Specific program goals include:

  • To create a growing awareness of the caring love of God for every person.
  • To lead the child into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • To present the Bible as a guide for daily living.
  • To develop within the child a Christian moral and spiritual code.
  • To encourage the child to participate in a local church. 

Chino Valley Christian Education - Statement of Faith

We are an interdenominational organization, yet we are all members of one body, the body of the church of Jesus Christ.

  • We believe the Bible to be the infallible and authoritative Word of God.
  • We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His atoning death through His shed blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to receive His church into power and glory.
  • We believe that because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, the regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for the salvation of lost and sinful man.
  • We believe that everyone must make a personal choice to accept the free gift of salvation.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by who’s indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
  • We believe Marriage has been ordained and instituted by God. This Christian organization defines “marriage" as the exclusive covenantal union of one man and one woman in which such union is a lifetime commitment. A civil government’s sanction of a union will be recognized as a legitimate marriage by the organization only to the extent that it is consistent with the definition of “marriage" found in this Statement of Faith. 
  • We believe legitimate sexual relations are exercise solely within marriage. Hence, sexual activities outside of marriage (referred to in the New Testament as “porneia") including but not limited to, adultery, premarital sex, homosexuality, and pedophilia are inconsistent with the teachings of the Bible and this organization. Further, lascivious conduct, transgender behavior, and the creation and or distribution and/or viewing of pornography, are incompatible with the biblical witness.
