When it comes to audit there are some things that have tripped us up and this list is drawn from those experiences in the hope that by sharing them, we can help someone else from falling into the same bear trap... or slipping on the same banana skin.

For some of us it comes in the form of 'Whaaat? I didn't know that/realise that/spot that coming/that doesn't make sense' with a bit of outrage to boot. For some of us they are 'grrrrr' moments, as they might be quite simple things that can easily be addressed quickly but lead to a poor score so best avoided eg didn't have the FCA number on our materials...hadn't got TB induction records online.....didn't have a trigger date for contingency plans if funding not agreed...not clear how often auditors selection reviewed..
