DESA/OISC with support from the MGoS HLPF Coordination Mechanism will organize a capacity development workshop, to take place on 5 to 7 July 2019 in Glenn Cove, NY. The workshop is specifically for participants WHO HAVE NEVER ATTENDED THE HLPF.

The HLPF Workshop will promote understanding of the HLPF, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the opportunities and procedures for engagement throughout the Forum, and peer-to-peer learning sessions and exchanges among representatives of Major Groups and other Stakeholders.

*** There are 50 spaces available therefore please only apply if you are registered for, and attending, the HLPF. If you are accepted to attend, a spot will be reserved for you. If you are subsequently unable to attend, please let us know at your earliest convenience so we can open the opportunity to other deserving candidates. ***

Please note that the meeting will be conducted in English (no interpretation will be provided however, there may be the possibility of having some working groups in French and Spanish).
