Mayor de Blasio has released his preliminary NYC budget for fiscal year 2022 (FY 22). Instead of funding the essential services that feed us, house us, and take care of us, he proposes an expansion of the NYPD's budget by 36 million dollars—and is asking labor partners to "find" $1B in further savings.
