The Mahwah Public School District has opened the registration process for our 2021-2022 full-day kindergarten program. Preliminarily, welcome to our school district!

It is of the utmost importance that we gather accurate and timely enrollment information about next year’s incoming kindergarten class. Any resident child aged five on or before October 1, 2021 is eligible for enrollment.
Our district uses an online pre-registration format for all incoming kindergarten students. The online pre-registration process consists of the submission of basic student enrollment information and a brief developmental survey completed by parents/guardians. New this year, parents can upload residency documents via the pre-registration submission. Once parents submit the pre-registration they will receive an email with links and instructions on how to upload the required documents. Since we anticipate that potentially the immunization and health forms that are required to be filled out by a licensed physician will not be available at the time of submission or any other document that the school might require, they can be submitted at the time of your appointment. The pre-registration via Realtime must be completed by Monday, March 15, 2021.

All families of incoming kindergarten students need to provide proofs of residency to validate enrollment eligibility. A list of acceptable documents can be found on the Registration Process tab. Parents/guardians requiring information regarding which school their child will attend should contact the district administrative offices at: (201) 762-2407.

To ensure consistency of process across our school district, registration (the sole purpose of which will be document collection) will be held on March 24, 2021 at our Thunderbird Think Tank (T³), located at 50 Ridge Road. Please pull into the Thunderbird Think Tank parking lot and enter the building using DOOR 3 (to the left of the blue cube structure). The entrance is labeled “T3 PD room entrance.” Central registration signage will also be found on this entryway. Due to our commitment to social distancing, we are asking parents that wish to provide registration documentation in person, to schedule an appointment.
