1. Eligibility: This tournament is open to all certified Delaware USBC members from LDUSBCA or NDUSBCA (or must become a sanctioned member in a Delaware Association before tournament starts)

2. Format: Is 3 games which are bowled on the same pair of lanes, team will consist of 3 women only.

3. Official Tournament Entries: Reserve entries close 3-13-25.

4. AVERAGES: Bowlers are responsible for verifying their own average. Failure to use the proper average or make a correction PRIOR to the completion of the first game bowled will result in disqualification (USBC Rule 319) Average to be used in this tournament will be determined in the following order.

a. Entrants shall use their highest certified book average established in any USBC certified league book or bowl.com from 23-24 season with min 21 games.

b. If a player does not have a book average they will use the current average as of March 1, 2025, with minimum of 21 games. Bowlers must provide an average sheet for all leagues and use their current average.
c. Ten Pin Rule: if your current 24-25 average with 21 or more games is 10 pins higher than book average you must use your current average in this tournament. (USBC rule 319) this current average includes substitution averages.
d. All other bowlers must bowl scratch 230.
e. Rule 319c relating average will not be used.

5. Prize Reporting: Bowlers who have qualified for: $300.00 or more in any event. Total combined prize winnings of $500 or more in any 1 tournament. Total combined prize winnings of $1000 or more in all tournaments within last 12 months. The amount of prize, score bowled. And prize position must be reported.

6. Handicap: Division 1 – 581 and above handicap will be 90% of 690

Division 2 – 580 and below handicap will be 90% of 690

7. Substitutions: Report all substitutes to the tournament manager at least 30 minutes prior to bowling. Once a substitute throws their first ball for a score, they must finish the event.

8. Refunds: No refunds will be permitted after the squad is confirmed. However, in the event of an emergency, we will reschedule to another squad if possible.

9. Check In: Individuals must check in at least 30 minutes prior to squad time. Average & address verification must be submitted/confirmed.

10. Scoring: Once an event begins and a bowler is not there when it’s their turn to bowl, a zero will be credited for every frame missed.

a. Automatic score sheets will be used as the official score sheet.
b. Bowlers must certify their scores as being correct at the completion of scores bowled. This will be the only opportunity for corrections.
c. In case of scores being lost through the computer, re-bowling will be permitted.

11. Awards: The prize fund is returned 100% at a ratio of a minimum of 1 for every 5 entries per event.

12. Protests: The tournament manager will handle all protests. Tournament managers have the authority to accept or reject any entrant. All appeals will be handled in accordance with USBC Rule 329.

13. Unlimited participation is allowed. A team must change at least 1 person in the lineup if re-entering.

14. Entry Fee: is $35.00 per person, breakdown as follows Prize fund $21.50, bowling/expense $13.50.

a. Checks, money order, bill pay, and cash will be accepted. No credit/debit cards accepted.
b. Any NSF checks will disqualify the team and there will be an NSF fee of $45.00 on any returned check.
c. Make checks payable to: DSUSBCA.

15. Suitable-looking attire must be worn. Skirts no more than 2 inches above the knee, walking/golf shorts, skorts, slacks, sleeveless shirts, or clean jeans. No tank tops, bare mid-drifts, or spaghetti straps. NO hats, caps, or visors unless for religious reasons. Clothing with obscene logos or inappropriate language is not allowed. Final attire determination will be by tournament director.

16. Tournament results will be posted on the website www.DSUSBCA.org
