We are aware student staff in housing departments are referred to in many ways (community assistant, resident advisor, etc.) for simplicity this report will be using the term “Resident Assistant” or “RA”
 
This report is designed to help:
• Institutions lobby for the kind of change that is necessary.
• Provides a frame of reference in terms of workload and compensation of RA staff.
• Start a conversation with other institutions for what works for their school.
