East County Leadership Program Class of 2025 - Application
The East County Leadership Program, a San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce flagship program, empowers and connects current and emerging leaders for deeper engagement in our East Region communities. Over the course of 10 months, participants are introduced to a network of exceptional regional leaders and explore businesses, organizations, and issues that define the region.

Applications will be accepted through Friday, September 2, 2024.
Applicants meeting the qualifications will be invited to a 30-minute interview during the second week of September.

Tuition
Tuition is $ 950.00 and is payable upon acceptance into the program. Nonprofit organizations and small businesses may be eligible to receive a discount if two or more participants are accepted in the program.

By submitting this application, applicants recognize they are fully responsible for tuition, regardless if paid personally, by the employer, or by any other source. Tuition is non-refundable.
Commitment
As a participant in this program, the success and vitality of our region is of concern for you. All participants are expected to actively engage in sessions and devote additional time outside of sessions to their Future Vision Projects. Realistically, the commitment is an average of ten (10) additional hours per month, February through May.

We understand that emergencies arise. Participants who miss more than twelve (12) hours of class meeting time will be asked to withdraw from the program. No portion of tuition will be refunded, but an option to complete the program may be offered.

First program date (Orientation): September, 2024

Submission of this application indicates that, if selected, you are prepared to be an engaged participant in the program and all its components, from sessions to project work to community engagement.
