Attention Women that identify as First Nation, Metis, and Inuit Members of South-East Ontario, ages 18 and over! We have an amazing Women's Cultural Camp! The camp will be hosted by the Indigenous Sport and Wellness Ontario (ISWO) from Friday October 13th-15th, 2023, on Thompson Island, Summerstown, ON. This camp will be open to 25 participants.
The 3-day, 2 night camp will include numerous activities and workshops , such as:
-Sunset Kayaking
-Gentle Pilates Practice
-Homemade face mask class
-Women's Talking Circle
-Nature Walk
-And much more.......
Participants are responsible for transportation to the hub in Summerstown for pick up and drop off times. Due to the nature of the location and activities all participants must be able to participate without physical restrictions.
The camp is organized and will be facilitated by Hannah Lazare our South-East Ontario Regional Coordinator and the Staff of Thompson Island Cultural Camp.

We will provide transportation via boat at Warden's Marina (formerly known as Vipond) hub close to the Akwesasne territory. Pick up will be friday at 4pm at the hub, drop off will be sunday at 3pm at the hub.
