Informed Consent *
The purpose of this survey is to examine how the status of being a first-generation college student affects one's mental health. 

This survey consists of 20 questions and will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. The questions consist of behaviors, experiences regarding mental health, academic life, and demographic information.

Your responses to this survey will be kept completely confidential. The data will not be associated with any individual and will be kept anonymous.

There are no specific harms associated with participation in this survey. However, if the participant feels harm may come from participating or answering questions from this survey, they are urged not to answer specific questions or to withdraw from the survey entirely. 

Participants are free to withdraw from the study at any time, for any reason, without penalty.
