Questionnaire for prospective adopters
***All information provided in the questionnaire is strictly confidential and will be used for our purposes only and in the context of selecting the best home for our rescues.***

Adoption of a pet is a big decision. Lot of animals end up on the streets, for the very reason that people are not ready to adopt and don’t seriously think it through. Please read this questionnaire carefully and answer the question honestly, before going forward and making a final decision.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE FOLLOWING:
We do our best to give you detailed information and description of the age, breed, health and pet’s character, but not always we know everything about the mentioned ones. Little pets are peeing, pooping, biting, barking and look for attention from your side. Every animal requires time, devotion, caring, exercising and training. Given everything, are you REALLY ready to take this obligation and commit towards the well-being of the pet?

***ADOPTION PROCESS:***
1. Filling a form for potential adopters (Below);
2. Home check;
3. Signing an adoption contract and paying a adoption deposit fee (150 GBP);
4. Arranging travel certificates, vet checks, treatments and organizing transport;
5. Paying the rest of the fees (one week before the transport);

***FEES:***
The fees are 560/610 GBP for England/Scotland respectively and that includes the adoption fee and all necessary transport arrangement for getting the dog from Skopje, N. Macedonia to your door.

***IF SUCCESSFUL FOR ADOPTION:***
After the homecheck, you'll get a confirmation email where you can sign the contract for adoption and information on how to transfer the deposit to our PayPal account. The deposit is 150 GBP, and with that the dog is reserved for you. The deposit is non-refundable in situations where the cancellation for the adoption is made from your side. In any situations such as transport cancellation or any other issue from our organization's standpoint whereas the adoption is cancelled, should it happen, the deposit will be refunded. The deposit is deducted from the total fees and the remaining of the fees will be required to be transferred one week before the transport.

WHY ARE FEES SO HIGH?

The fees required by rescue for each animal. Readoption fee is 150 GBP.
Our dogs are tested for diseases and infections, receive medical attention, incur boarding costs, Foster costs, travel costs. They're issued with EU passports and paperwork, travel by an approved transportation company which has air conditioning, comfort breaks and gives a full run down of its location as the dog travels to you. If old enough, our dogs are spayed/ neutered, they are fed relevant diets, given relevant medication and they are all supported by our rescue back up which of course, incurs costs
We are run entirely by volunteers and are not for profit. The fee for the dog is the basic (most often less than actual) cost of safely bringing a street dog to your home. It is the cost of saving their life.
