Identification of Priorities and Themes for DJPC 2021 Programmatic Work.
On Saturday, January 23 from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm we will hold our Annual Planning Meeting, on the zoom platform. We want to identify areas to prioritize in the coming year. You are invited to provide your input, share your ideas on how to continue building international solidarity, and evaluate our work this past year.

As a reminder our main commitments from 2020 were:
● Updates and calls to action on human rights violations in Honduras, Mexico, and Brazil;
●Lobby to pass the Berta Caceres bill in Congress which would cut military aid to Honduras until trials for human rights violators are held;
●Host a delegation to Chiapas in June to hear testimony about threats faced by environmentalists, farmers, migrants, and social activists;
●Working with our partners in Mexico to protect environmentalists, journalists, and activists;
●Host a workshop to build our skills and strategies as activists;
●Host 6-8 speaker Forums and Annual Awards Night.
