Hello,

My name is Hal Bagwell, Head Baseball Coach at Indian Land HS. We have had great success with our summer teams the last 3 seasons and I would like to continue that into the summer of 2024. In my opinion, our player development plan and our game/practice organization is as good or better than any club/group/organization around. Your son will learn the IL Baseball way, including all philosophies and fundamentals. He will also be coached by our high school staff. 

If you are interested, please complete the following interest form and sign up for Remind Communication. The goal is to have 2 teams, including a rising 7th/8th grade team and a rising 9th/10th grade team. We will practice together 2 days per week at the new Indian Land HS field and play in local travel tournaments (no overnight lodging - very overrated at this age) through USSSA.  We plan to play in 4 tournaments on the weekend, typically Saturday and Sunday. We will likely play in 4 games per weekend but will be guaranteed 3 games. Our typical time frame is June and July.

We would like to continue playing in the fall with our 7th and 8th grade team. SCHSL rules do not allow us to that for current ILHS athletes.

More specific practice days, game dates, times, etc will be sent later. We will also have a parent meeting in December to discuss the nuts and bolts of what we offer. We plan to have 13-14 players per team, so if you would like to commit to us now, you will be guaranteed a roster spot.
