PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND DEPOSIT 2024
The price of the beef
will be $3.35 per pound hanging weight.
Purchaser is responsible for cutting and wrapping fees and any other
fees associated with cutting, wrapping, killing, boxes, etc. Purchaser must specify which butcher they
choose for processing of their beef upon ordering.
A deposit is required to secure the order. The
deposit for a quarter beef is $250, a half is $500, and a full is $1000. The balance is due no later than 10 days
after notice of slaughter based on hanging weight. Deposits may be refunded upon request prior
to slaughter. Deposits on confirmed orders are NON-REFUNDABLE after slaughter. If the balance is not received within 10 days
after notification of slaughter, a late fee of $50 will be added to the bill on
a quarter beef, $100 for a half beef and $200 for a full beef.
If purchasing a full
or half beef, the purchaser is required to contact butcher with
instructions and preferences as soon as possible after slaughter and certainly
within 7 days after slaughter. If purchasing a quarter beef, you will
receive the standard cuts of beef unless cutting instructions are requested by your
butcher.
Cut and wrap will occur approximately 2 weeks after
slaughter. Purchaser is responsible for
picking up beef from the butcher when it is done. Most butchers require pick up within 5 days
after completion of cutting and wrapping.
The meat cannot be picked up
without final payment to seller being confirmed with the butcher. Neither the seller nor the butcher is
responsible for meat left longer than 5 days after cut and wrap.
I understand that I am entering into a good-faith agreement
with the seller and that every effort will be made to meet my
satisfaction. However, I agree to hold
harmless the seller and/or butcher for any reason other than failure to fulfill
order.
