We are so glad that you are interested to be an Adult Volunteer at Vacation Bible School!  VBS doesn't happen without our volunteers...Thank you!  

This online form will collect information so that we can connect you with a great role at VBS.

We first will ask for your contact information, including your email address.  We will then ask you to indicate the Adult Volunteer roles where you are able to serve, and what days of the week you are available.  We will also ask your permission to use photographs and videos where you appear.

In order to participate in VBS you must complete an online background check and take some online training.  It will take less than an hour.  We will send you the information separately.  We may be able to waive this requirement if you did it recently.

A description of the available roles, before we ask you to choose

Crew Leader/Assistant Guide a group of K–5th grade children from station to station during VBS.  Be a friend and help them develop relationships with others.

K–5 Story Teller Gather supplies and teach the Bible story to children K–5th grade in a dramatic fashion each day. This activity occurs outdoors.  Youth may be available to assist.

Games Coordinator Collect props and implement games that relate to the day’s activities. This activity occurs outdoors.  Youth may be available to assist.

Snack Team Plan and gather necessary items and prepare snacks for children during the week.

Crafts Leader/Assistant Assist children who need help with crafts.  Leader plans crafts and ensures that supplies are available for the week.   

Preschool Leader/Assistant Guide a group of 3–5 year-olds through all of the week's activities (crafts, snacks, etc).  Preschool groups do not rotate between stations.

Preschool Story Teller Gather supplies and teach the Bible story to preschool children in a dramatic fashion each day. This activity occurs indoors.  Youth may be available to assist.

Behind the Scenes Assistant Assist with shopping, paperwork or decorating projects as needed either leading up to VBS and/or during the week of the program.

Assist with Closing Various roles, as needed.
