Los Angeles Soccer Club Competitive Team Application
The Los Angeles Soccer 1st team is an Open team for players 18 years and older. We are a semi-pro soccer team. We do not currently pay players to play for us. Established in 1951, we are one of the most successful and oldest soccer clubs in Southern California with a tradition of excellence. We are the only amateur classed soccer club to win two US Open Cups ('51 and '64). We are one of the only clubs in Southern California with our own privately owned and run clubhouse. We provide an excellent environment for player development, providing everything a player needs to compete at a high level.

  • The Los Angeles Soccer Club first team requires all players to be responsible for their own transportation. 
  • We require 1st team members to train with the team once a week when in season. Currently, our weekly team training sessions are Thursdays. 
  • We require 1st team members to be available for games on Sundays when in season. 
  • We play at least one but up to two tournaments annually and require all 1st team members to attend, even when travel is necessary. 
  • We require 1st team members to watch weekly game tape of the previous match, which is provided by the club.
  • We require all 1st team members to become a member of the LASC (a $10 registration fee).
  • We require all 1st team members to wear the Los Angeles Soccer Club uniform to all games, which are provided by the club.
We currently play our league season in the San Fernando Valley (Agoura Hills and Westlake Village area). We currently train in the San Fernando Valley (Van Nuys and North Hollywood area).

The Los Angeles Soccer Club 1st team requires player availability to attend practice on Thursdays, matches on Sundays, and travel for at least one or as many as two or three tournaments a year. If you are currently unable to do those three things, we highly recommend you apply for our 2nd team (LASC II) which also plays in a competitive league but does not travel for tournaments at this time.
