Gun Violence Prevention
Exploring Guns in America and Our Faith
Contact Pastor Kendra kendra@fccge.org with questions

As a seminarian I worked in Brookfield CT the town next to Newtown where the Sandy Hook shooting occurred- ultimate innocence lost to senseless violence.  I would drive past names places on angle outlines in peoples yards and waited for change. The reality of gun violence is real for far too many people in our country and sadly people of color have felt this pain acutely.

We will be working with Faith Lutheran and St. Mark's knowing that together we can do more than on our own to explore, ask questions, and look at what next steps are.

The curriculum will  conclude with a panel discussion at Glenbard West on February 12.

The curriculum will be facilitated by members of all three churches and allow us to enter into deep conversations with one another around the issues of gun violence.
