We regularly help students of all ages enter/exit the water. Everyone (including front desk staff) also need to be ready to aide/carry a young swimmer in the event of an accident or emergency situation. *

We frequently move the teaching islands and regularly load/unload supplies and pool chemicals. Any available staff are often asked to assist and this can require lifting objects that are 50+ lbs in weight. *

We work in close contact with our students. Young swimmers, particularly toddlers and babies, love to touch/grab. This presents a problem for teachers wearing glasses and those with piercings. We strongly advise you NOT TO WEAR expensive glasses or eye-catching jewelry to prevent personal injury or damaged accessories. *
