Citizen Science HAB Spotter Training
Thank you for considering joining our HAB Spotter Team! We are looking for dedicated volunteers to monitor sites once per week during a time frame that works best for you. We are hoping to find volunteers who readily recreate on Presque Isle or Lake Erie who can serve as our eyes and spot HABs for rapid identification and notification. After a short HAB identification training, HAB Spotters will be able to report their results through our website every week, whether they see a HAB at their designated location or not.

As a 501(C)3 certified nonprofit, the Regional Science Consortium cannot function without dedicated volunteers like you! We hope you join us and become a HAB Spotter!
