San Francisco Opera Dress Rehearsals offer the opportunity to experience the drama and excitement of grand opera in person by attending final dress rehearsals at the War Memorial Opera House. Thousands of students, seniors, and community members have experienced the wonder opera has to offer from world class singers accompanied by the incomparable San Francisco Opera Orchestra and Chorus, towering sets, dazzling costumes and much more. All final dress rehearsals include English projected supertitles above the stage so no one misses the action!                                

Due to COVID-19, we are not able to offer speaker visits before the Dress Rehearsal. Our recorded Pre-Opera Talks and Educator Materials (if applicable) will be provided to better understand the production. We encourage you to review these materials before your visit to the Opera House for the best experience possible.

Please note, proof of full vaccination (including booster shot, if eligible, received at least seven days before the rehearsal) and photo ID will be required for all attendees. (Attendees can show either paper or electronic documentation, including a photo of the card.) A recent negative COVID test will NOT be sufficient for entry into the rehearsal. Attendees must be 5 or older.
