Chamberlain Scholarship Application
AFP Saskatoon Chapter is proud to offer the Chamberlain Scholarship Program for the Annual International Fundraising Conference. This program is designed to help individuals serving non-profit organizations develop their knowledge and skill in fundraising.

The AFP Chamberlain Scholarship will cover the registration fee for the 2024 AFP ICON Conference held in Toronto, April 7-9, 2024. The successful applicant or their agency/organization will be responsible for their airfare and accommodation to attend the conference. The Chamberlain Scholar announcement will be shared during the 2023 in person AFP National Philanthropy Luncheon (November 16th, 2023 at Prairieland Park).

Selection Criteria:

Chapters will select their Chamberlain Scholar based on the following criteria, which are established by the AFP Foundation in Philanthropy and may be supplemented by criteria set by the local AFP Chapter:

1. Candidate is employed as a full-time fundraising professional or spends at least fifty percent of work-time fundraising for my organization.

2. Candidate has attended an AFP (or NSFRE) International Conference on Fundraising as a registered participant (unless a member of the Conference Host Committee).

3. Candidate agrees to complete a post-conference online evaluation regarding his or her experience for the Scholarship Committee.

4. Only one individual from any local organization or institution can be selected.

5. The Saskatoon Chapter invites AFP members and non-members to apply.

6. A high resolution photo of the applicant to be e-mailed to sacha.tegenkamp@usask.ca by September 25, 2023.
