You should be willing to help hype my books around release dates. This means sharing posts on social media before and after the release date, sharing the cover reveal, and generally helping hype it on release day.
You should also be willing to join a hype day once a month, where an already-published book is being hyped on social media - along with helping when a book is on sale.
Beta and Arc reading is optional, and you should never feel pressured to do it. Both beta and Arc reading are very big time commitments, and I understand if you don't have the time to offer.
That said, especially ARC reading is important for an author, so if you plan on never doing ARCs maybe leave the spot for someone else :)
