Starting in January of 2022, the AIGA DEC Design + Writing fellows have been working individually and collaboratively to discuss and investigate the history and future of an often overlooked communication artifact, the Visual Essay. The posters on display at this conference represent part of the work they have been doing.

We invite you to participate in reviewing the work displayed here and anonymously share your feedback and perspectives. Your contribution will impact the designers’ process as they prepare for formal publication.
