Event Overview: We invite live performers and technical artists to join us for a unique event that aims to bridge the gap between African cultural heritage and immersive technologies. This event seeks to foster collaboration between individuals passionate about engaging with African heritage and those with the technical skills to create 3D avatars. Together with technical partners, we will recreate important moments in Africa's history in new and engaging ways using AR and motion capture technologies.
What to Expect: A one-day cross-industry workshop dedicated to honoring unsung and forgotten African heroes/women. The co-creation workshop takes place at the heart of the STEREOPSIA immersive world forum. If you take part in one of the selected digital works, you'll receive a free (one-day) accreditation to access the forum & you'll be programmed in the AVATARS poster of the BRUXSLSART HIVER 2024 festival presented by BXL ART NFT gallery. A unique opportunity to showcase your talent in Europe's largest augmented reality gallery, and to gain exposure to a wide network of European gallerists, collectors and philanthropists.
