The MSHS Office for Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) encourages the formation of employee resource groups (ERGs) to create an atmosphere where all employees, faculty, and students feel they belong! Through ideas and innovations from our ERGs, we are best able to inspire an inclusive environment and identify ways to best care for our diverse populations.

The LGBTQ+ ERG exists to create an equitable, inclusive and supportive environment for all employees, faculty, students, patients and their families - regardless of one’s sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. The group serves as a resource to educate and inform staff of issues which impact LGBTQ+ health, policies and procedures to address such issues and MSHS services which respond to the needs of the LGBTQ+ patient population.

There are many ways for you to belong - attend events, share your thoughts, and become an active member or LGBTQ+ ERG lead for your site! The LGBTQ+ ERG is open to all - join us!
