Penn State Teaching and Learning with Technology is hosting a series focused on engaging students in synchronous and asynchronous online environments through course revisions.
How do you purposefully design, plan engagement, and communicate among distributed student audiences that reside in the same course? Instructional designers experiences in distributed course design from over a decade of experience will identify critical success factors and explore four supplemental technology options for student engagement. Participants will discuss strategies for engagement across the multiple modalities.
