2022-2023 South Avenue Scholarship Application for Graduating BHS Seniors

Applicants must be graduating Beacon High School seniors in 2022 who are alumni of South Avenue Elementary School.

Two scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $500 each. After all applications submitted by the deadline are received, our Scholarship Committee will review all completed applications and recommendation letters. Our secretary will redact all identifying information before submitting to the committee so they can be reviewed without bias. The committee will score applications based on the fields below, which are worth points, and your letters of recommendation.

All instructions must be followed in order for your application to be considered. The following items must be received in order to be a complete application:

RECOMMENDATION LETTER: Ask the 2 people who will be submitting your letter of recommendation to complete this separate form:

NOTIFICATION: All completed scholarship application submissions will receive a confirmation of receipt. The award recipients will receive notification at the Senior Awards Ceremony on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Beacon High School. If you are not in attendance to receive the aware you will be notified by email and a check will be mailed to your home.

PAYMENT OF AWARDS: The award checks will be made payable to the recipient and will be available at the Senior Awards Ceremony, mailed to your home address, or can be picked up at South Avenue when ready.
