FWD Floating Wind Award 
The FWD Floating Wind Award is a global recognition awarded to an organization, a person, a company or initiative that drives the floating offshore wind industry forward.

Nominees for the award are required to demonstrate how their achievements have positively impacted the Floating Wind industry by actively contributing to at least one of the following values:

·      Improved economic value (such as cost and risk reduction)

·      Positive societal value

·      Positive environmental value

The jury will choose the winner based on who best demonstrates the ability to turn words into action, whether through introducing new technology, forging contracts between companies, exhibiting leadership in politics, or presenting visionary projects for the future.

Candidates from around the globe who significantly contribute to the industry's development are eligible for nomination. A thorough explanation justifying why the candidate deserves the award must accompany each nomination. The explanation should not exceed 2000 characters.

The FWD Floating Wind Award 2024 will be presented to the winner in front of the assembled global floating wind industry on the main stage at Floating WInd Days on Thursday 30th May.

The jury for the Floating Wind Award 2024 consists of industry representatives from DNV, Equinor, Deep Wind Offshore,  EDF Renewables, Shell, Lyse, Eviny, TGS, Source Galileo, INGKA, Kansai Electric Power, Odfjell Oceanwind, Å Energi, Corio and RWE.
